Put an end to those bad skin care habits with these five tips.
1)
Try not to at pick acne spots, I know it hard sometimes, but picking at them
makes them last longer and can cause scaring.
2)
Refrain from over-exfoliating. Sometimes one may try to scrub away at acne to
get rid of it, however it actually just causes irritation and leaving your skin
more vulnerable to sun rays.
3)
Cut back on heavy foundations, A heavy foundation or liquid makeup can clog
your pores and cause acne.
4) Make
an effort to maintain a daily skin care routine. Allow your skin time to get
used to a skin care regimen because teen acne often doesn't improve when one
isn't consistent with their skin care. Cleansers and acne medication doesn't
work right away, they only work if they are used every day, consistently. Try
to start off simple, maybe a 3-step skin care routine.
5)
Avoiding sunscreen. Sunscreen is important even when it is cloudy or rainy out.
An easy way to make sure you get your daily does of UV protection is to find a
moisturizer with SPF of 15 or 30.
Until
next time,
Parker
